***OT**Today's tanked market and politics 101......

I'm sure that many noticed that the market was recovering very nicely until Bush made his televised speech. Prior to his speech the Nasdaq was up 16. It was all downhill as soon as he finished his first sentence.

Lesson # 1....Don't go on National Television if you have nothing to say.

Without as doubt Bush had absolutely nothing to say. Thank goodness he didn't speak for a full half hour. It would have tanked the DOW about 500 to 700 points.

If Clinton made the same speech under the same circumstances he would have announced three initiatives to rev up the economy.

As a Democrat I want to see Bush do well....because if he continues to fail it means hard times for the whole county.Granted that smaller portfolios are easier to manage....but that's not the objective.
