I dunno about the rest of the world, but I'm getting awfully sick of MSFT's bloatware. I won't be upgrading.(FWIW, I'm already running Win2K. It's very robust and I'd recommend it to anyone still on W95 or W98.)

I find it curious that you or your IT people chose to pay for a Microsoft OS as opposed to getting a free OS. For the sake of consistency, it would be be wise to just use free software. I expect you would gain a fondness for Microsoft's "bloatware" quickly. "Free" has hidden costs which become very clear upon installation.
