I am confused regarding FTEL's relationship with WCOM... maybe someone can clarify it for me.

I thought the arrangement with WCOM was regarding FTEL's use of Gridnet. I understood that the recent changing of passwords was due to FTEL no longer using Gridnet (high prices I was told). This first became apparent to me when my FNET account indicated I was using IDT instead of Gridnet causing a noticable decrease in performance (this may be unique to the NYC area). I subsequently cancelled my FNET account and changed to another ISP using Gridnet.

So I am now confused as to how FTEL is connected with WCOM. I have not been able to read all the posts for the last few weeks, so if this was already defined I apologize for asking.

Thanks,

Judith
