Dear twister:

As my last post to you, all I can say is do take that vacation I mentioned. You terribly need to get away and relax.

It continues to amaze me how you can possibly view expression of opinion on a particular investment as a battleground for wars! You view the investment world as those who made a lot of money during the past few years, and those who did not and elected to sit aside. In your view those who did make a lot of money are fools and you mock them simply because of the downturn we have been having for the past 12 months or so (and I do not refer to it as a bear market but simply a correction). For what? Just because the markets are down, does not mean those who correctly took the risks during the past few years and made a lot of money are fools.

No one is a fool. Whether they made money in the market, or lost money, or did not even participate in the market. I fail to see how can possibly someone enjoy seeing somone else losing money as you seem to enjoy. It is simply beyond me.

I have no clue where you get your assumptions about my investment, what I made or not made, or ...?! But if you must know, I did cash out a half of my portfolio consisting of al high-techs (not at the peak in March of 2000), but 5 months later. Used the cash, paid off a good chunk of my mortgage, and put the rest under the mattress (only to use it to buy stocks again as they continue to decline). And I did hold on to the rest of my portfolio and have been accumulating shares ever since then as market continues to go down - and will continue to do so at every chance I get and as much as my disposable cash allows me to do so. I have a portfolio consisting of stocks such as VTSS, LSI, JDSU, CSCO, GLW, MSFT, INTC, CIEN, EMC, among a few others -- and soon SUNW (when and of course if it reaches $5-$7/shr). As for SUNW, after selling my initial almost 5 year old shares in 98 making a rather good profit, I did buy back a bit in 2000 and earlier this year, but to sell it all at $17/shr taking a bit of a loss.

And yes, these stocks are down now, and for all I know they may continue to go down (during which I will continue to accumulate). However for you to come out, and with your unique foolish arrogance mock me simply because my portfolio is down is totally ridiculous and simply beyond me.

You seem to think this is the end as we knew it. And the world has come to an end, and there is no hope. And this my twisted naive friend is what makes you and I differ from one another. You are like a little kid who during the past few years either sat on the side and did noithing, or shorted the market and lost (or sometimes made a little money), and now because the markets are down you feel good about yourself and enjoy watching others losing money - the same people whom you mocked when they were making tons of money and you were not.

But let me tell you one thing, Mr. Market is there for you to take advantage its fears and greed. Right now it is the fear that is ruling, and if you think greed will never come back then my cyber twisted naive friend you do indeed have missed the entire point of being a human being!

Markets are about some logical factors (e.g. P/Es, P/Ss, growth rate, etc.), and some illogical factors (i.e. the very basic human being emotions, perceptions, and understanding). It is those illogical factors that define the logical factors. And if you are a human being (which I can only assume you are), you must understand emotions go both ways to the extreme sometimes (if not most often). But one thing is for certain, they never stay there for ever and alsways swing back-and-forth.

The economy will turn, and it will not tell you in advance when it would turn. And anyone who claims they can forecast exactly (or heck even approximately) when it turns around is as foolish as a cow. But the economy will turn, and it always turns around much quicker than you, I or anyone can predict. Afterall, how can you possibly forecast the exact moment of someone's emotions changing to one direction or another. What you want to do is to be prepared when the turn happens. And preparation is all you can do - and this is what I am doing right now by accumulating the very stocks you mock and laugh at.

As my last statement to you, do take a vacation with your loved ones, get away, and relax a bit. Trust me, you will view the world differently afterward.

No need to respond.

Regards (depsite the fact that you have none for me)!
