Old people .... I love 'em .... Someday I hope to be one and stay one for about 50 years, lol.

As a group, Old people are the wealthiest sector of our population. Entitlement programs (both corporate and government) were established to be in their favor for quite some time. Between pensions, social security, and the appreciation of real estate and the stock market over the past 17 years ... compared to baby boomers and under, THEY ARE RICH !!

As for CD and bonds .... ummmmmmm ... if they're holding 5 year to 10 year bonds, they've actually gained 10% - 20% during this stock market down turn.
