Chaz & Paul, IOS : the sw that got CSCO to their pongid status. Junos (the Juniper variant) IMHO is like AMD Vs Intel. CSCO's pongid status IMHO, is not the boxes they make, but the sw that works behind the scenes, the one that other vendors want to conform to, for interoperability. IMHO, IOS is far from legacy status. an appropriate comparison may well be to say "windoze is legacy status". cheers, kumar
