I think we have to compare specific browser versions. [I tried Netscape 6 several months ago and hated it because it was not possible to copy/paste from/to the address field].
Netscape 4.72 is not bad but I cannot fit all my bookmark folders on the links bar. On IE6 I can. More importantly, in IE6 I can select a bookmarks folder to save a new link in. In Netscape I have to just save the link and then later shift it to the desired folder.

IE also has a built-in repair tool. I cannot vouch for its usefulness though. I have used it, but it doesn't report that it has fixed anything.

Maybe Netscape 6.1 is better - I have not tried it. You can keep your existing browser if you install IE6. At this moment I have both, IE6 and Netscape 4.72, open.
