Orders; we'll start with biotech buys for now:

Buy 50 CORR @ 20.80
Buy 80 INCY @ 12.80
Buy 60 MLNM @ 17.40
Buy 30 SEPR @ 33.00
Buy 40 VRTX @ 26.00

All of these orders expire on September 21, 2001 if not filled.

Basically all of these are high-quality mid-cap biotechnology companies, and the price limits are 20% below current market. I suspect things are going to get mighty volatile over the next period of time, so I don't expect all of these orders to get filled.

However, in the event they do, these stocks do stand a good chance of appreciating after the market carnage.

^VIX is at 34 right now. I expect it to get higher, and correspond to a market decline. ^VIX ideally should reach 45-50 before the market finally bottoms.. however, that period of time will be a mere two hours of trading before things normalize themselves. Only day-traders that are sitting in front of a quote monitor will be able to capitalize on the panic.
