JC: We may have to continue the conversation over on 'The Porch' -- that place is open 24*7*365 -- it never closes. It's sort of my home base on SI and we have a neat community there too.

I'm glad to hear your body is recovering from the damage done by the doctors.

I miss the coast of Maine -- I'll be back in the area for sure within 2 years for a big college reunion up in Brunswick. Who knows, I may get back out there sooner. A couple of years ago I did business development work for a software firm headquartered in Portland (one of my favorite cities). This provided me with regular trips to one of the more beautiful parts of the country. I'll let you know when I may be in the area and maybe we could meet for lunch or dinner...If you're ever going to be out in Chicago, let me know.

Thanks for the update on the Goldens...At my parents' cottage in Holland, Michigan last weekend I ran into some old family friends who just got a new Golden (it was 1 year old and fully trained <G>)...they have kids and grandchildren with Goldens and decided it was time for another! Some day when I settle down and start a family I know I will get a dog -- and I'm sure you know what kind.

Thanks for your comments on my posts over on V's thread....I have had some extra time available in the last few months and have been online more than I normally am. Unfortunately, this fall my schedule will be busier and I will be stopping by the porch when possible (but not nearly as often).

IMHO, the market will do some bouncing between now and November....then we may see a sustained recovery / rebound kick in. It's just my hunch.....there are some great position trading opportunities.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and stop by 'The Porch' sometime.
