Sam, to tell you the truth I don't know alot about TLAB. The only contract they have lost was to Seicor(combination Seimens and Corning). As far as externally modulated continous 1550 nm lasers their competitors as Synchronous Comm. in the U.S. and Hitachi in Japan. All the other laser makers that I know of are linear pump lasers like ORTL. They have a lot of competitors that are big,but much more diverse,as far as small companies, they are the best. I saw that ECILF won a contract for HFC with Terayon modems in Belgium for 100 million. I know UMG uses HLIT alot outside the U.S. in Argentina, and here. I know Rogers plant in Canada that is HFC is almost exclusively HLIT product and they are planning a big build-out across Canada in the second half of the year(One Wave). TWX uses HLIT,but I don't know how much right now. Sam post some info on TLAB for me that you think is pertinent.
Tim
