Hello, I'm a newcomer to this site. Here's my take on the "create pdf" topic.

If you are using a Mac, it's very easy to create a pdf file.
1. Download the shareware "PrintToPDF" virtual printer driver from jwwalker.com
2. Drop it in the Extensions Folder and select it using the Chooser
3. "Print" from any app straight to a pdf file.

Here is a brief description from the web site:

PrintToPDF is a shareware Macintosh printer driver that creates PDF files (readable by Adobe Acrobatâ„¢ Reader or GhostScript on any platform). You do not need to have the full Acrobat package (as opposed to the Reader) installed for PrintToPDF to work. You can create PDF bookmarks to your section and subsection headings, and URLs will become hot links. PrintToPDF is not as powerful as Acrobat, but it creates simple PDFs for a much lower price ($20).
