What I find so strange is the short-term bias of the folks who say they are taking a long-term perspective. We have seen quite clearly what happens when prices get out of whack by going up to an extreme degree -- they go down for long periods of time. For a year-and-a-half we have heard the bulls say "We are at or near the bottom". Time will tell. But the charts and the valuations provide no support to the contention that there is a new bull market coming any day now. quote.yahoo.com Do you remember the guys who used to say "the stock market cannot go down because people put money into their 401ks every month and there is no other place for the money to go but into stocks"?
