We need responsible leaders back in The White House. The Bushites are making the Democrats looks more conservative, responsible, intelligent, mature and reasonable every day.
The real problem is Bushites are trying to re-play the Reagan era in a post Cold War, New Economy age. Effect, great friction with our allies and around the world, deficits already, lies and exaggerations on a daily basis, US credibility battered, tech economy even more depressed than it would have been, mass malaise, kooky programs like Faith-Based which will never pass, cynical hypocritical attempted voter grabs like proposing citizenship for illegal immigrants, pushing congress to pass what they don't really want to pass, derailing cmapaign finance reform when it had a chance to pass, helping energy companies gouge us to death, plundering the environment for no good reason, reliance on the dirtiest type of energy sources, 70 year old men running new progressive programs, fat cat soft money backroom politics, attempts for more "dictatorial" power for the President, basically everything off-kilter, spinning away, trying to stay on-message when it's the wrong message most people don't want to hear. Boasting about unpopular programs beign good for the country (not) and wise-cracking about his own real weaknesses (being out of touch and a poor intellect and communicator). |
