Yes, it both catches the eye, the hand and is
additionally useful.

One old designer buddy collected items which he liked to
"handle", which feel good in the hand (of both the handled
and the handler)

The communcator does not fit that demand fully, but the
"eye" aspect is good, see it and one would like to lick
it, or at least handle and feel it.

At a mimimum to open it up to see what might be inside.
