As an American I am unhappy for our unconditional support for a country, that I think is based on racist principles and guilty of serious human right violations against Palestinians.

I guess that goes for the Egyptians, Kuwaitis and Saudis as well, eh??

None of them particularly like the Palestinians either...

Personally speaking though, and as an American who's family history on this continent can be traced back to the early 1800's (seen the graves), I don't like seeing us provide unconditional support for hegemonic, authoritarian, and undemocratic political regimes.

And that would cover almost every nation in the Mid-East EXCEPT Israel. And in some ways, given it's unicameral form of government, it may actually be more democratic than the US in many ways (when's the last time a US government was kicked out by a no-confidence vote?)..

There is nothing more "racist" than a nation that lacks the belief of "inalienable" human rights within its very structure.
