Dear Denis: In hearing the after game show, Bill Roth and Mike Burnop fielded several questions about how long it would take Brian Randall to overtake Grant Noel at the QB spot. Normally they back Beamer to the tee and would consider this questioning of having the best guy at the position heresy; however this time they agreed with the caller. They are very high on Randall and I believe that they like the way he runs out of the pocket and scrambles. They also said that there is no question that Noel is the best guy at the present time. I agree . Noel had an off day and I thought that he is very innacurate on the longer ball, having badly overthrowing many times Sat on the long ball. Of course Randall never stays in the pocket long emough to let the receiver make the long route......this is a team that can improve in great strides...no way have we come close to a peak.One of these games we will put it all together and we will awe the competition , I just hope its UVA, Syracuse or another big game. I think Cent Fla will come to town looking for revenge. Every team will be looking for blood that we play. Miami looked : FAST.....that could one of the best games in reg season college ball this season..Gregor
