Ole 49r has been searching for gold ever since the Klondike.
I think she is one of the "immortals", like the Andrea Doria ghost ship.

As a former Bre-x cheerleader,
her credibility is zero, especially as the Normet report was released
to the Bre-x thread on the last Friday of normal trading (by Essam Hamza).
It plainly stated that the ratios of indicator minerals (one to another)
in the samples was indicative of an alluvial source.
When I read that I sold all my Bre-x with one hour to go. Why a grizzled
"Ole 49r" who claims to know so much about assay techniques couldn't
see this is beyond me.

It was so obvious. 49 was too long ago. Misery loves company -
thats why the Bre-x losers swarm like fireflies to other stocks in distress and
continue their inane discussions on those threads - Mike Sloan and the like.
Hopefully they won't transfer the lunacy to this thread too. Thats when I
bail. Actually I'm just getting interested in gold stocks now having been
short Placer and ABX for the last year, mostly buying puts. I think this
market is close to a bottom. I bought El Callao today at 1.18. Seems
like a good deal to me.

Cheers
