Why there is a discrepancy in pricing? I thought the producer would check around and sell their product @ the best offer price, especially NG, North America is not the only producer, and the price should be in a international standard.. say USD. ----------- You are correct. There is a international standard for all commodities. It is the US$. Allways has been and allways will be. Look at quotes for gold , quotes for oil and just about any other. Lorne would have you believe that natural gas is an exception. HARDLY. ---------- The discrepancy exists for the large part in the mind of the reader. Look at a report it shows the price. Automatically one assumes it is CDN$. The site Lorne told of clearly states that as a basis it uses prices in US$. It has since 1999. And it says that right at its site. Now Lorne would have you believe that in all US financial sites it shows a price of US$2.50 and his site he uses shows a price of CDN$ 2.52 for Sep 08. Now any reasoning person could see that a discrepancy in the range of a few cents is quite possible. What is just too far fetched is saying that the real discrepancy is more like a $1 or more. Now how realistic is that. Lorne himself has said he doesn't know why there is such a discrepancy. Simple fact the discrepancy as he sees it just doesn't exist. Now if anyone truly believes this to be the actual truth you can sign over your units to me. Since things are going to be as bad as Lorne has said I will gladly pay 10 cents on the dollar for anyones units. If someone is having problems with understanding I will pay $1 for a $10 unit. Better snap this offer up.
