Ah well, whatever. Meanwhile, an offering for
the thread: Naz will
eventually fall below 1200. This is, anyway,
the overall feeling in the Silicon Valley VC
community, based on a KP party I attended last week.
Difficult to overstate the bearishness
out this way. Nuclear winter is coming, it's felt,
and the world hasn't quite come to terms with
it. Should the VC perspective hold true,
then we could get a real undershoot in the Naz.

Oracle will be the key public indicator here, I think. If
that market shows sliding weakness into next year,
then all bets are off. In particular, most of the 2nd
and 3rd tier firms out here are really hurting. Another
6 months of this and you will see a huge wave
of Chapter 11s. Too many firms are on life support
and praying for a quick turnaround.

As usual, the clueless retail investor will
be the last to know.
