Yes Holland takes care of its people. High taxes but no problems with crime, poverty, health care, etc. They are too liberal for me in some ways (like immigration) but it's good they're there for some people, for instance they have legal assisted suicide for those with terminal painful illness. My friend's friend has terrible terminal cancer and is going there soon to be put out of her misery. Also legalizing (but controlling) marijuana works. They have much better hard drug situation there that we do, few cramming prisons and the locals don't smoke much, mainly the tourists. Canada is next to legalize marijuana. In my experience, less dangerous than alcohol. And hemp could solve our timber/wood pulp shortage problem. Problem is, what American politician will call for such things?
