Chinese authorities plan to soon set guidelines for listing foreign shares, according to a Dow Jones report that cited the Sunday edition of Japan's Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
By midday Monday, the Shanghai B share index had risen 2.02 percent to 166 points.
Heavyweight companies, including Eastman Kodak (EK: news, chart, profile), Unilever NV (UN: news, chart, profile), French telecommunications equipment maker Alcatel (ALA: news, chart, profile) are preparing to list, the report said. |
