Intel is utterly inscrutable. They want the chipset market to sop up .18um capacity? They could always build more Piii's , which are still popular on the corporate market, and have to be a lot cheaper to produce than the .18um P4's that Intel is intent on shoving down everybody's throats. See theinquirer.net , for example. But having unilaterally decided what the world wants, Intel is following a different path.
