Nobody reveals their true hands, not even Level II. Some people would have you believe that if you pay the $50 per month for Level II quotes that you will have access to what people's true intentions are. Not true at all. I've seen what appear to be thick levels disappear in an instant. IMO it doesn't mean anything. Level II is good for actual order execution and for posting your own bids and asks so you can see how your price fits in and you can also hit bids and asks for sizes that you are looking for. You can also look for the same names buying and selling, but rarely is somebody that obvious about their buying. I've seen it in the past, but its rare.
