Beacon Light Holding Corp. Becomes Wellux International, Inc.
HONG KONG, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Beacon Light Holding Corp. has changed its name to Wellux International Inc. (Pink Sheets - BLHG) announced today that the new name approved by the shareholders is Wellux International, Inc. and NASDAQ has assigned the new trading symbol WLXI effective today August 23, 2001. Wellux International recently obtained additional capital of over seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) by selling restricted shares through a private placement. These funds will be utilized for the acquisition of movie rights and content expansion and the planed establishment of Wellux USA.
The Company, formerly known as Beacon Light Holding Company, was recently renamed Wellux International Inc. Its 37 million outstanding shares now trade under the symbol WLXI. Wellux International, Inc. is a holding company domiciled in the U.S., which principally conducts current operations through subsidiaries in Hong Kong and the Netherlands. The Company has its revenue origins in consumer household market items; but is now focusing on rapid expansion of its adult entertainment product offerings, which now account for over one-half of revenues.
