In the States you can skip your arraignment and enter a plea in writing.

I'll check that out but I think here you need to show up.

What's your trial defense going to be?

I will contact the prosecutor Tuesday and request notes that were taken by the officer and data on the radar system including the last time it was calibrated etc... In other words I will wing it.

And did you have a good lawyer with you?

No, but I printed this out and was clutching it the whole time. #reply-16310734

Quite honestly it is a rather depressing experience. The people working there all give the impression of being trapped. I plugged two quarters in the meter but I was only in there for 10 minutes. The Queen's Bench court house is almost as bad.
