Well....yeah they've done ok. I guess at the moment (until convinced otherwise) I think NFL refs should be full time. We're talking about a multi billion dollar industry that wants to go cheap on a portion of the game that could determine the outcome of a season. While I believe the replacements did an ok job yesterday I don't even want to give a team the chance to point to one bad call as the reason they missed the playoffs. Now this can happen with regular officials too but if it happens with these guys its going to be major news. The players union has also brought up a point that the replacements may lead to player injury because they miss some calls such as chop blocks. I guess I don't buy into that too much because if the players union was really concerned about players health astro-turf would have been gone long ago. That said - I think it's time to pony up the doh and bring the real zebras back.
