OT Nokia, There are a whole bunch of nokia stories on the wire this morning. Stock is up in europe 15% and much of it attributed to short covering as the market starts looking at the future. This same earnings news a week ago would have caused the stock to go down. But Nokia et al have been going down relentlessly for months. At some points the shorts do cover, even if only short term. Market is showing all the signs of doing what oversold markets do and if that spreads, we should get a relief rally and the 1650 nasdaq will have held. I know many technicians were hoping for capitulation. That may yet come(october) but a successful test of the lows may also have occurred and maybe a bottom is in place this time. In any case today may be a good day. Notice the Hedging in my voice. Many timees burned and very cautiously optimistic. mike
