Brokers cutting telecom networking stocks.
You know it's darn close to bottom for some of them now. As always nice move by brokers...heheheheh

SoundView Cuts Telecom : Hearing from sources at SoundView Technology that the firm is downgrading several telecom equipment names this morning: JDSU to HOLD from Strong Buy, sees downside risk to $4-5.50 and cuts FY02 estimate to a loss of $0.04 from a profit of $0.06; NT to HOLD from Buy, sees downside to $4, FY02 goes to a loss of $0.44 from a profit of $0.02; OCPI to HOLD from Buy.

Salomon Cuts Telecom : Salomon Smith Barney downgrades the following telecom equipment companies (price target changes in parentheses): to OUTPERFORM from Buy: PMCS (50 to 32); to NEUTRAL from Buy: VTSS (28.50 to 10) and JDSU (15 to 6); to NEUTRAL from OUTPERFORM: CIEN (25 to 16), JNPR (35 to 15), GLW (17 to 10). Firm reiterates BUY on AMCC, but cuts target from $30 to $20.
