The sad part for me is that Lisa is no longer with BYDS. I spoke with her at her home this evening and she is looking forward to new opportunities. When I tried to reach her at work one of the salesmen answered her phone and he did not know that she was gone. But said he was not surprised in light of "all that had been going on." He was referring to the layoffs and cutbacks BYDS has been making to bring the staff in line with sales.
It seems that this is a typical case of a company growing rapidly and in their zeal to produce to match their sales they produced some bad product due to overtaxing their equipment/resources which resulted in loss of sales and the need for more capitol expense to bring production capabilites up to sales capabilities.
This has been done at BYDS at the expense of the quarter. I believe the company is as they say "leaner and meaner" and the moves they are making show that they DO NOT INTEND ON STAYING STILL.
They now have the capacity to produce and are bringing in the people needed to produce sales/etc.
The salesman that answered the phone sounded like he knew he was going to have to produce or go the way of poor Lisa.
I think you can put this one on the back burner until fall.
