The natural response is to demand retaliation, since this is the contemporary Pearl Harbor. Yet this in not comparable in that we do not (as of yet) have a nation state and official government to blame, like Japan in WWII. Plus, the Pentagon's attempt to punish Bin Laden when Clinton was President resulted, among other things, in us blowing up a pharmaceutical factory while Bin Laden espcaped. This will generate a lot of heat and passion for sure, as it damn well should. Whether or not light and strategic response will follow, is another matter.

Back to the original question, what will the markets do when they open, in all of your opinons?
