US military power is impotent against millions of fanatics dispersed throughout the world, gladly willing to die to further their cause. Trying to randomly bomb them (ala Clinton's raids in Sudan and Afghanistan) only creates "martyrs" and makes the situation worse. The only way to face this is a draconian increase in US internal and border security. We have the technology to do it, and we certainly have the money.
