I've wondered why it has been impossible to arrest Bin Ladan, but I've read that people in Afgan admire him. They even name their kids after him!!!! I wonder where he gets his money. I've heard he has a lot of it. It seems to me that when a strong organization such as his decides to do something like this no one can stop them. "It hasn't helped that our President has been disengaging from foreign sources such as Russia or the Middle East who have supplied intelligence to us before." Bush has alienated just about every country except Mexico and even the Mexican President gave him an ultimatum when he was here last week. Still, we must surely believe that security agents from all over the world have been looking for Bin Ladan. I wonder what kind of leverage the US has against the Taliban, a cruel and heartless fundamentalist group, a group that should be driven from power. I don't have cable and I can't log onto Yahoo. I guess it is too busy, but I found the AP article in The Chicago Tribune and the Seattle Times.
