I want there to be a devastating response against the Palestinians, to punish them for the most unthinkable of acts

You must learn to distinguish between the Palestinians and the radical Islamics. They are of course closely allied and sympathetic to each other. However, to hold Palestinians exclusively responsible may not be necessarily correct--all indications are that Bin Laden is the culprit. He is not a Palestinian.

The atrocity today does not promote the interests of the Palestinians. The atmosphere in the Middle East will get worse. The prospects for peace have gone down the tubes. Assuming rational behavior, why would the Palestinians want this to be the result of today's terror?
