Wall Streat and the NYSE is about 5 minute walk from WTC. There are other exchanges in the vicinity. I believe the Mercantile exchange moved from WTC to World Financial Center (the buildings that you see close to the rever when they show shots of the area where WTC once was). I believe there was still a minor exchange (Cocoa sugar or something) in the WTC.

My guess is that the area will be pretty muh close for next couple of days, since they will probably need to examine structural integity of the surrounding buildings. NYSE is far enough that it would not have to be affected, but you never know.

BTW, one of the reports I heard on Fox news estimated that 10,000 people died in in these terrorist acts.
