John:

What a disaster. I was listening to wcbs (the NYC news station) when they switched to their traffic helicopter.

I've closed our office and am leaving in a few minutes. Will donate blood either tonight or tomorrow am.

Many times I've gotten off the subway about 4 blocks from the towers and have walked to the towers before heading to next destination.

People wise this is just terrible. Can't even imagine the damage. Probably a small plus was the streets were so croweded not as many rescue workers were trapped as could have been when the building colapsed. Just terrible.

Spent the morning trying to reach my reinsurance clients. The repercushions are unimaginable. The reinsurance market is going to be shocked on this. Marsh & McLellan (sp?) who I think is the #1 broker and claim processor occupied top floors in the tower.

Just tragic all around. Not sure of the stock markets.
