As I cool off, Haim, I'm more inclined to think the same way as you on this. No wholesale slaughter. But very focused action to pull the weeds. That still feels like revenge, which feels good at this point. Daily reports of terrorists being surgically taken out would be most gratifying. If Allah favors martyrs, well, we do try to be helpful in so many ways around the world... What I do not want to see, though, is this country wimping out and "playing by the rules" or being "the good guys", or actions not being taken because of collectively ineffectual politicians hemming and hawing. Identifying (and publicly flaying -- I'm not letting loose of that one) the perpetrators must be the top priority of our country and every possible resource must be directed at that. And forget policitcal barriers (extradition, etc). Muscle our way in if necessary (surely we still have that kind of muscle) and get what we're due.
