Must keep a level head and assess facts.>> RR: THAT IS SO TRUE NOW MORE THAN EVER....We have experienced a major failure of our multi-billion dollar U.S. intelligence system. It is sad that this type of tragedy had to happen in order to wake up the U.S. to the real threats -- Well orchestrated international terrorism within our borders....We have had Congress debating about Star Wars and missle defense but IMO they may not have focused enough on the real threats...They will now. My prayers go out to the thousands of victims and families connected with today's terrorist attacks...We are now in a state of war BUT we don't know who the enemy really is. Our Government will continue to function and I hope the country works hard with our international allies TO RESPOND EFFECTIVELY. Any Nation that harbored ANYONE associated with today's terrorist attacks MUST be treated as though they are a part of an act of war against The U.S....Freedom was attacked this morning and freedom MUST be defended. We are dealing with crazy, radical murderers --> All the hijacked planes were bound for California and The Bastards behind the hijacking KNEW they had lots of fuel and would provide more explosive firepower to maximize their ultimate impact. America has changed forever on September 11, 2001....There will be a heightened level of tension and security that we have never seen before. Chicago has been under an emergency state for several hours now...I was supposed to be in a meeting with a friend in the John Hancock building today BUT that building and all other prominent buildings in Chicago have been closed. Business people are leaving downtown....Overall, we have been very fortunate in this state -- No incidents so far. I feel for those involved with what's happening in New York and Washington. THE U.S. MUST HUNT DOWN AND PUNISH THE TERRORISTS AND ALL THOSE SUPPORTING THEM. It's a sad day in America...We must pull together and become stronger and learn from this tragic series of events.
