Several very big W.S. firms may have lost all or most of their top executives >>>!

AND a large part of their HQ staff when those WTC towers crashed down.

I'm not sure which floors the various firms and executives had their offices on. But big hitters like to be high enough for a good view of "their world". So far I've just done a quick check and found that both Merrill Lynch and Lehman Bros HAD their corporate headquarters in those buildings.

As far as I know, no major financial house has ever lost more than one or two executives let alone an entire management team ! We will know for sure when the casualties are tallied in the next few days. A vacuum of leadership will have devastating effects that will extend far beyond the W.S. firms directly impacted.

For example, Merrill Lynch management was one of the key supporters of the Plunge Protection Team.
