Jim,

Good post.. however,

What if the enemy didn't care if it lost it's life?? Israel has been fighting this kind for years. It never ends. No matter how hard a line you take, there will be others willing to sacrifice themselves in revenge. So, until the Israel/middle east/US involvement problem is resolved, there will be attacks.

I guess what I am trying to say is attacking and bringing them to justice, although what should be and will be done, is not the deterrent we imagine it is.

Remember, we are in their backyard, helping their enemy. No matter how right we are, they will have unending hatred towards the US.

Of course, this is assumming foreigners were behind this.
