I was already at work on Wall St at the time - far enough to be safe, but close enough to see. It was terrible. I was on the 21st floor looking out a window when the first tower went down. People were running all over and this immense wave of smoke and powder was working its way through the buildings in every direction covering some of them.

I left immediately. Large numbers of people were totally covered with grey/white powder.
