It is certainly possible, if not likely, that some money came in (and will still come in) from "friendly hands" in Omaha like Scott or others that bought bonds at huge disocounts and will now hand them in. Future direct investments are possible too. I suggested (predicted) that many times in this thread.

And that in itself is a very good reason to not get involved on the short side. There are a number of other companies in this industry with similar or worse finances, much worse assets, and no billionaires that already have a fortune tied up (and practically the entire city of Omaha to worry about) to protect.

These guys still believe in the business model (as do I). If you do, all you have to do is ensure the company gets to the other side and everyone else in in deep doodoo.

If you are a short seller, why battle the best company - that also happens to be backed by a titan? (not you personally - just in general)

I think being short LVLT demonstrates a very foolish streak or a lack of understanding of its assets and backing relative to the competition.
