Michael, RE: <<Secondly, we should all be very careful about assigning blame. While we all want to lash out and take revenge for these cowardly acts against unarmed civilians, it's important to direct the anger to the proper place. We should make sure we do not falsely accuse any person, country or religion for these acts.>>

Your point is very well taken. I suppose there is some possibility that the attacks were not orchestrated by religious and political fanatics from the ME region but that risk is low in my view. How many organizations are there that could orchestrate a well coordinated attack, had the knowledge and resources to carry it out, hated the US enough to do it and were manned by poeple willing to martyr themselves to the extent of sacrificing their lives? How many groups have attempted such acts in the past? How many have threatened such acts? Life is full of surprises and this may provide one of them but it's not likely. Still, your words are reasonable and wise. Time will tell if someone pays and, if so, whether those truly responsible pay. Ed
