Hi Charles,

One commentator suggested that the casualty count might be similar in magnitude to the Americans killed in Viet Nam.

Was it Fox or the National Enquirer? This sort of yellow journalism is completely irresponsible.

FYI, the body count on US personnel in the Viet Nam conflict was ~60,000. Three million Vietnamese lost their lives. There is no honest and responsible comparison between the WTC event and the destruction of life in Viet Nam.
