The left started this war decades ago, and they are not all surprised by those examples you have presented as absurd. Remember the last terrorist event? They blamed Limbaugh, didn't they? And William the Bastard was right out in front of them. Remember the murderous aggressive war against Serbia? They said it was all-right, because William the Bastard was president, so you have to support him, even when he acts like Hitler.

This goes back 40 years, and the REAL shortcoming of patriotic Americans is that they have IGNORED IT for so long.

So the unfortunate answer to your question is "no", there are NO more times whan we can "just be Americans", until the cancer among us has been purged. And that day, while it may come, may not necessarily come in our lifetimes...
