I hate to repeat this again and again but over a million Iraq civilians have died from US sponsored sanctions. Horrendous as today's events were, this is just a pinprick compared to the number of Middle Easterners killed by the US directly and indirectly. You cannot keep killing people year in and year out without triggering a response at some point.
