Hi Tim,

I can appreciate your comment about not appearing weak in the face of terrorist attacks. But some of us feel that America has become a bit of a bully boy in the world system and to follow your advice would actually be more harmful than having our leaders take a more conciliatory position toward the peoples of the world who don't want the blight of American capitalist supremicists and our toxic culture ruining their ancient societies. There is no clear concensus that the American way is the best way for the entire planet.

I'm simply trying to look at this from both sides of the issue. Clearly, people in other parts of the world have the right to struggle for self-determination and self rule. And just as clearly, certain forces in the US intend to re-mold the world into chattel states, and create subservient colonies of the rest of the world.
