Yes but they would know about it and know that history had proven all you had to do to get what you want is kill a few thousand Americans. Noone in their right mind would want to set a precedent like that.

Some people only understand violence. If you want them to respect you and fear you, you have to kick their butts worse than anyone else ever has. As a Canadian who counts on America to save us from terrorists, I would be disappointed and terrified if America did not take swift and hard action against the perpetrators in this horrible attack.
