FWIW, I see that point clearly George. Bin Laden is a hero to much of the Islamic world. I don't see him that way, but I can see their point.
I wonder how many in the USA can agree with not opening up Alaska to drilling while we at the same time allow despots to rape the Arab world for oil?
I recently had an interesting conversation with a very well known and highly successful auto engine inventor/designer. He has countless patents and has invented sold engines that are used today by Ford, Daimler, etc. He told me about his continued rejection by major auto makers of his 450,000 mile, virtually emission free combustion engine. "Sorry, not interested." Ford, et. al. only want gas guzzling engines that break down so that we must buy more cars that use more oil. All in the name of profit. Iraqi children don't buy cars so who cares about them? Only their parents.
It is sad that the world has reached new levels of atrocities. Sadder yet when the only response we as a nation have is to up the ante. |
