Any more reports on status of Morgan Stanley or First Boston yet? An old friend works in one of the WTC buidlings (something like, 66 to 80th floor). I'm assuming he got out.
I hope the semiconductor Analysts (JJ, Ashok, Niles, etc.) are all safe.
I am very glad folks at Intel could go home today. Frankly, I was concerned about Intel. When Intel folks return to work, I know this may sound paranoid, but I hope someone keeps an eye out the windows for any planes this week. This is spooky.
As far as the market goes, this will negatively impact them, but keeping it in perspective that's money not a person's life. Terrorism does not impact the markets like war.
My prayers are for safety for everyone. My friend loves NY skyscrapers, and he always said I should come and see the beautiful view. I hope he is safe.
