>When I was a very young girl in India, one of my teachers unfairly hit me with a ruler and left a bruise on my hand.
When my grandmother found out about it she went to the school. What do you think she did? She didn't talk to her
about it! She took the ruler and smacked the teacher leaving a bruise on her hand. She said that's what it feels like
when someone hits you unfairly. That teacher never laid a hand on me again and neither did any other teacher! There's a lesson there.

When I was a very young kid in Greece, one of my teachers slapped me so hard that for the first time I saw stars. The reason was I kept goofing around in class after being repeatedly warned to stop. The next day his car's windshield had an unfortunate little accident. Amazingly I made a comment during a game of soccer I was playing one day. Unfortunately, one of the other players was my teacher's son who told daddy all about it. The next day me and my father were summoned to school when the bastard expelled me for a week. My father tried to kick me but I outran him. But he took away my bike for a month and no TV for me for a month. There is a lesson there for me: Do not retaliate<g>
